Band 24 frequencies include up to 30 MHz of prime licensed spectrum that is ideal for high capacity, Private LTE, and 5G networks and applications. 3GPP, the global wireless standards organization, has designated these frequencies as part of its 4G and 5G b24/n24, affording organizations the opportunity to obtain carrier-grade lower mid-band licensed spectrum. These lower mid-band frequencies offer superior propagation as compared to higher frequencies, and more exclusive capacity than is generally available for private networks.

Band 24 offers approximately twice the range and four times the area covered when compared to similar systems operating at frequencies in the 3 to 4 GHz bands.

Band 24 capacity is significantly higher than what is potentially available from the limited number of alternate frequencies in the sub-2 GHz range.
